Collecting Images from the Internet (Lead Story)

Although we encourage students to use original illustrations in their work, the internet can be a great source of images for teachers to use to enhance lessons and illustrate concepts, and for students to use in their documents and multimedia projects. Using images from the internet also gives teachers and Library Media Specialists an opportunity to teach students about intellectual property, copyright laws, and fair use.
