- Information Literacy This site by Alan November is a great place to start to learn about how to validate information from Web sites. Alan calls it “the grammar of the internet” and you can use his ideas to build lessons for your students around information fluency.
- Yahooligans Teachers Guide: Teaching Internet Literacy Yahooligans is the kid-friendly, kid-safe version of Yahoo. They provide some activities, resources and Web site evaluation forms that teachers can use in their lessons.
- Developing Critical Literacy Skills for the Internet This site was developed by Bridget A. Ricketts, a technology teacher at Prince of Wales Collegiate High School in Newfoundland. There are links here to sites about all aspects of popular media and Internet safety. Last updated in 2001.
- IMSA 21st Century Information Fluency Project This site from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy is a good resource for learning about information fluency. It includes somes valuable tools for teachers and students.
