Teacher leadership has been an important feature of the MLTI from the start. It has been a formal component of the project since before the first statewide rollout in the fall of 2002. From the selection of the first nine Exploration schools in the spring of 2002 teacher leaders have been key. Based on Successful Strategies for MLTI Schools, this document will provide support for those new to the role.
